Informed Consent & Video Use

What You're Consenting To

By submitting pitching and mobility video, you consent to Apex Motion using that footage to produce the athlete's biomechanical assessment and training program, to operate the account and provide support, and to perform the quality checks needed to deliver that assessment accurately.

Minor Athletes

If the athlete submitting video is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and provide consent on the athlete's behalf before submission is accepted.

How Footage Is Used Internally

Submitted video is reviewed by Apex Motion staff, and processed by the service providers Apex Motion uses to operate the service, for three purposes: producing the athlete's assessment and program, quality-checking that work, and meeting security, fraud-prevention, and legal or compliance obligations. This consent does not authorize use of the athlete's video as a general research or methodology-validation dataset. If Apex Motion wants to use footage for that purpose, it will ask separately; that permission will be optional, and declining it will not affect the athlete's assessment, program, or access to the service.

Requesting Removal

You may request that your submitted video be removed from active use — see Data Retention & Deletion.
